City and Country Walk
Option 1
- Usually chosen by visitors who have already seen the main city centre attractions.
- 2- 2 and a half hours. Cost £130 per group.
- Start from Pulteney Bridge and do a circular walk including part of the city, Jane Austen's house, Lady Danbury's house (Bridgerton), the canal and hillside above.
- Available as a private walk. Daytime or summer evenings.
- Please note the 2 hour City and Country Walk does not include Royal Crescent and Circus.
- The best of both worlds. History and nature.
- Walk from the city into the beautiful surrounding area of the canal and hills then return to the city centre.
- See parts of Bath loved by locals which visitors usually miss.
- Fantastic views. Great for photographers.
- 2-3miles. Moderate level of fitness.
- Mostly flat on paths. 1 short flight of steps and a fairly steep climb of approx 100 metres.
- Learn about the area where Jane Austen lived, see her house and visit the gardens and canal she enjoyed.
- Peaceful and picturesque.
- Well behaved dogs on leads very welcome.
- Bath Syline National Trust area
Option 2
All the city plus the countryside.
A longer tour of 3 and a half to 4 hours with time allowed for a coffee /tea stop.
As per the tour above in option 1 but in addition a tour of the City Highlights including all the city attractions. About 3 - 3 and a half miles.
